John Dixon Appointed to Loan Officer

Progressive Farm Credit Services President & CEO Bob Smith is pleased to announce that John Dixon has accepted the position of Loan Officer at the Dexter Branch.

Dixon began his Farm Credit career in 2015 as a Risk Management Specialist at the Dexter Branch.  He replaces Mark Zabelin, who was recently promoted to the Vice President/Branch Manager position at the Dexter Branch.

Smith stated, “John loves working with farmers, meeting them and building relationships with them, and he very much wants to help farmers to be successful, and thereby to help the branch office and association to be successful.  With that goal in mind, he is very excited about the opportunity to learn this new side of our business and assist farmers with their credit needs”.

Until a new full-time Risk Management Specialist is hired and fully trained, Dixon will continue to work with farmers’ crop and life insurance needs at the Dexter branch office, as well.

Dixon resides in Bloomfield with his wife, Lecia, and sons, Eli and Owen.
